CV<\/p>\n


\nUlrike Buhl lives and works between Berlin and the M\u00fcnsterland region of Germany<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Ulrike Buhl develops sculptures, reliefs, collages, and site-specific installations in which form becomes perceptible as a result of force and tension. Her distinctive artistic language combines organic qualities with technological precision, exploring the interplay between nature and construction, micro- and macrocosm, as well as material and energy. Through experimental processes with diverse, sometimes technoid materials, she creates works that do not exist as static objects but as condensed states of movement, transformation, and stored energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Buhl\u2019s work follows a consistent principle: form is the expression of real forces and becomes visible as a dynamic, relational configuration of matter, space, and tension. Her poetically precise visual language oscillates between control and chance, beauty and disruption, opening new perspectives on the perception of change and reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her works have been shown consistently in institutions both in Germany and abroad, including the Kunstmuseum Ahlen, Museum Kunstpalast D\u00fcsseldorf, Museum f\u00fcr Lackkunst M\u00fcnster, the Gallery Festival Curated by in Vienna, and various art associations. In recent years, her practice has increasingly shifted toward large-scale, site-specific installations that respond deliberately to the architecture and history of the spaces they occupy. A notable work is the installation Zwischenweltort<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>at Kunstmuseum Ahlen (2024), in which she stages a sensitive dialogue of space, condensation, and dissolution, translating themes such as abyss, terror, light, and vitality into a tension-rich configuration.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
