The dimension and time frame of the series is not yet decided.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.4px;\">Shadows are not only a manifestation of shaded light, but are in themselves sombre with their own peculiarities and are often considered to be a mirror image of the soul. They are symbolic doppelgangers of their own counterparts and are often considered to be a mirror image of the soul.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In many cultures shadows are believed to be the souls of the dead floating in the afterlife, symbolising their unreachable weightlessness. Absence of a shadow and its sale to the devil, means an irretrievable loss of one&#8217;s soul.<\/p>\n<p>Deep psychology considers shadows to reflect the various unconscious levels of a person&#8217;s psyche, which can only reveal themselves through a person&#8217;s development of self awareness and thus, become part of a complex structure of daily experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Many pictures remain only as shadows in our memories. Nonetheless, they are real and develop a life of their own. These shapes unite to form a close circle which is reflected in the &#8220;Almond Shadows&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.4px;\">Copyright \u00a9 2026 Ulrike Buhl.
